My dad’s friend and his wife were the same case, guy couldnt do anything alone and never wanted to, his wife had to drive him to work, to dentist, he was finicky so she always made him breakfast and lunch, it was far above the genuine care and come off weird as he was some pseudo-child for her but apparently she was content with it (and they are still together, but never had kids)
