objectively speaking it has been successful all things considered. Financial losses aside getting on a network and running arenas in the WWE only era is.impressive. If anything you needed someone like Tony to eat losses in order to pull it off. That said it has already peaked and the crowds are leaving and very rarely do they come back.

true but AEW is a rare position where Tony is 1. A huge mark. 2. Endlessly rich and 3. Essentially answers to no one other than his dad. no investors. No board. Maybe the network but all networks are desperate for cheap content now. As a business it's a failure but as CM Chez said AEW doesn't exist to make money.
