Look at how many NXT women get hurt and those are girls in their early-mid 20s. Sure there are some outliers who are older, but most of the time women get hurt a lot. I don't see what the ageism argument is about? Bayley? Dakota? Bayley is an idiot who never politicked and says yes to jobbing. They gave her a "Thank you" run a year ago and it flopped. Dakota? She literally kept getting injured. Shit, Asuka's runs were when she was around the same age Bayley and Dakota are now, and she was healthy for those. But look at her now, she's hurt because that's just what happens as you get older.
I didn't even mention looks here, just the fact that women's bodies are more fragile than the guys and it's usually easier for women to venture to something else. Others just want to have a kid and can't really do that while taking bumps. Shit, Becky is 36 and took the year off because she liked hanging around her kid so much.
