They obviously told FWC (and i would guess others like Syuri, Maika, Tora to name faction leaders) that there are no plans to push older players anymore but, they could stay and be brand ambassadors if they like. BR is a struggling entity but, paying Joshi wrestlers to effectively sit in catering isn't going to hurt them. This is why Mina, Mayu, Thekla took off and Maika decided to sit for the year and heal up. Ami is in no rush to return and girls like Konami, the Momo's, Saki, and Waka are all happy to receive steady payments versus going out into the jungle to scrape for a living.
Since this is basically a WWE style monopoly in Japan now, I would this to continue without the releases you see as that shit never happens. They'll just moth ball them, pay them and keep them from anyone else until they stop signing.
