Logan Paul made a big impact in WWE with his impressive wrestling skills, even though he’s still fairly new to the sport. However, Kenny Omega has criticized the current state of wrestling and said that wrestlers from the 1990s would have easily beaten up someone like Logan Paul.

While speaking to Adi Shankar, Kenny Omega criticized the current state of professional wrestling, saying it’s much easier to break into the industry now than it was in the past. He pointed out that someone like Logan Paul would have been beaten up in a locker room back in 1992, as wrestling used to be a closed-off world where outsiders weren’t welcomed.

>“It’s remarkably easier nowadays. It’s easier ’cause like a guy like Logan Paul would have been beaten up in like ’92. They would have beaten him up in the locker room, like, ‘What are you doing here?’ You know what I mean? It was a closed ecosystem back then.”

Omega also revealed concern about where things are heading in wrestling, believing that in a few years, a WrestleMania main event could feature Logan Paul vs. MrBeast. He questioned the wrestling experience of social media stars like them and wondered if putting in the hard miles and building real wrestling skills even matters anymore.

>“I don’t know if I’ve ever said this publicly or not, but I think we’re headed down a path where, a couple WrestleManias from now, the main event’s going to be Logan Paul versus MrBeast. And it’s like, what’s the wrestling acumen? How many miles have they actually put into this? You know? But does it even matter anymore?”

This isn’t even the first time Kenny Omega criticized Logan Paul as he previously made it clear he wasn’t convinced The Maverick is a fantastic wrestler. It’s also likely that many fans will agree with what Omega had to say as the world of wrestling is definitely changing.
