>Can you imagine spending your time from elementary school to university as a "professional" in a category other than your studies? There are only a few wrestlers who have spent this impressionable period with professional wrestling. One of those very few is Stardom's Hina, who is currently a university student (18 years old) and reigns as the Future of Stardom champion. We spoke to Hina, who succeeded her elder sister Hanan and twin sister Rina in taking the throne.
>Influenced by her father, Hina started watching professional wrestling when she was in kindergarten. It is well known to Stardom fans that Hanan, Rina, and Hina are three sisters from Tochigi Prefecture who have experience in judo, but the first time they saw professional wrestling was at Korakuen Hall. The promotion was, of course, Stardom.
>"My father was a big fan of professional wrestling, and apparently he had been following New Japan Pro-Wrestling in particular since he was in middle school. As a result, he thought it would be better to suddenly go for women's rather than men's, and Stardom became the first organization I went to see. At that time, I had never even heard the word 'professional wrestling', so I went with the impression that it was just an event where idols would sing, but really, a group called K-chan Panda started dancing in the ring... but that was just the introduction, not the main event. Then the wrestlers came on, started punching their opponents, hurting them... I thought, is this really professional wrestling? At that time, I saw a match by Kairi Hojo (now Kairi Sane), and that was the one that made the biggest impression on me. She gets beaten up so badly, but the way she gets back up after that is amazing. I had started judo around that time, and I thought to myself, "There are amazing people like that out there."
