Admittedly, the harness workers were at fault that the stunt went haywire. But it's also because they rightfully assumed Owen wasn't going to show up. So when whoever forced Owen to go out there, they ended up having to rapidly prepare for it.
They didn't even calculate the distance to the ring, know how much Owen weighed, shit like that because Owen didn't show up for rehearsal and even when they did prepare the stunt at the last minute, Owen put his fucking trust in these guys not realizing that dropping from the rafters to the ring safely is an overly complicated thing that even if you had done it before, you can't just set up last minute.
