As a veteran in the business for over 20 years now, some people say you are "too arrogant for someone who loses a lot". Accusations of going into business for yourself, shooting on others - what do you have to say to that?
>It's not easy being in this business. I mean, as long as I've been in it, it's just not. I mean let's look at the facts: I job a lot, I get opportunities to be booked strong, I take 'em. By all rights I should always be booed out the building for my character's inconsistency, but the marks, fans, love a hard working type. And I mean hell, my character is me to a T, so when they cheer me regardless, I can't help but still feel pride. Is that so wrong?
Reportedly, you insulted 18 in many ways during the Android storyline, and had politicked her to be eventually written off and then effectively gone until the Super storyline had begun. Is there any truth to that?
>18? Ah... yeah. Look, I MIGHT have said some things to her backstage to get massive heat with her; it was different times, alright? I'm changed now. Family man, healthy son, gorgeous wife, well off, still getting booked in the top card, what more can you ask for? If anything, her shooting on me helped me and HER career out. In fact, I'm pretty sure it was the highlight of her career, but she only had like, what, 5 matches total? Yeah it's completely embarassing in hindsight and I've apologized ever since, but let me tell you, she's shoot the toughest woman to ever come into the scene. Why Toriyama never booked her more, I don't know. I may have been furious afterwards but I never stopped her push, that's for damn sure.
