Yeah, I agree. I'm not as huge on Tsutenkaku as most people seem to be, it's a little too "opponent jumps over Wato's head" for me. I think he's been using both, though. There's a Recientemente 2 that's very slightly different and finisher-tier.

I'll never understand what went wrong. It seemed, to me at least, like one of them was primed to be the next Kushida once they split around their Jr tag team era 2018-2021ish. But they're now 35-36 and only Sho has held the junior heavyweight title once, at that age Kushida was already a 5x champ and had won BOSJ twice.

I think YOH was planned for that position in the BOSJ 2021 with his finals placement, but he just wasn't getting the reactions they wanted. They even spun it into an angle about him being too nonchalant for the crowd. I think that's why he's been running through various "quirky" gimmicks.
