Sadly modern wrestling fans are not interested in playing up fun visual or stylistic character contrasts and what both WWE fans and AEW fans want out of "storytelling" is two stringy haired and tattooed millennials yapping back and forth about WHAT I'VE DONE IN THIS COMPANY before kicking out of 10 finishers and soifacing so it makes sense that both Corbin and Dave Meltzer think dressing like Cody all the time should be the standard and not the exception.
