Its also not how contracts work. You can't just get a multi-year complicated subcontractor agreement redrawn up and all signed off in a couple of days.
Moreover the timeline doesn't work. Hall and Nash jumped in May 1996. Razor and Diesel didn't debut until September 1996. In those intervening months, Hall and Nash were referred to as WCW contractors in the lawsuit about them jumping that WWF launched.
Also, Nash invented this for the first time in the Legends of Wrestling roundtable in nWo. Almost every single thing he says in that is objectively a lie. He tried to explain away booking himself over Goldberg and started claiming it was because of things that happened months later.
Also he changes the story constantly. He's claimed it happened in the TV truck once. Until it was pointed out that a bunch of lawyers aren't going to a legal signing in a cramped truck. Then he claimed it was in the CNN Center. And why they would be doing this at the same time that Nitro/RAW aired after the close of business hours and also have a TV playing RAW live?
Again, it just beggars belief and the timelines don't match. Hall and Nash had literally stated they were not WWF employees months earlier on TV. Its almost certainly invented.
