Zyklon B is gas used to kill lice, because lice cause typhus. The US and UK had concentration camps at this time period too.
When the allies found the dying jews in camps, the holocaust narrative was invented, to further demonize the enemy while also removing any blame for the prisoners deaths on the allies who indirectly were the reason the jews in the camps starved to death.
