How come we've had only one prominent wrestler (Jerry Lynn) have a Death Metal theme song play on wrestling tv in its entire history? You'd think that genres like death/grindcore that are predicated on ultraviolent atmospheres would be readily exploited by the carny ultraviolent business of pro wrestling, yet what you're going to find at best in terms of heaviness would be metalcore adjacent themes or the lone exception of House of Black's black metal Amenra theme. Hell, even thrash metal doesn't get much attention outside of the ''old reliable'' Metallica themes. Or straight up hardcore punk even.
