Honestly, Heyman had little choice. He was being squeezed out by both WWE and WCW and was very desperate. The funding he put into the ECW games along with the TNN deal was the death blow for the promotion in my opinion. Just fizzled out due to a lack of funding.

Absolutely, that's part of the appeal with indie stuff. You can watch a person's whole progression from jabroni to superstar (or however far they go, at least). That's part of why I praise Kerry Morton so much. I've seen him a lot over the past few years and he gets better every time.

Yeah my thinking is probably a little outdated on that. The old TV/PPV model isn't really so viable anymore. But I think that's a good thing for indie wrestling because now it's so much easier to catch the shows. In the past, you would have been limited to the indies within your area.

I'll tell you what big tunes Billy REALLY needs to do. He needs to get in touch with the Hart family and get them to run a Canadian territory. If he's really serious about restoring the territories, a Stampede equivalent would really help. There's also an old NWA territory called Georgia Championship Wrestling which is still active, although they were defunct for a long time and have only recently been revived. They would be a natural choice for the Georgia territory if the owner can come to some kind of deal with them.
