>>17771350That mspaint jpg was proven to be a Disproportional false equivalancy made by someone with no understanding of demographics or ratio’s and proportion based math. 129 Million subscribers on Max and only 500k viewers is easy for AEW. Here is the pasta:
Most people watch NBA on cable rather than an app (boomers who don’t give af about wrestling). OBVIOUSLY MORE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO WATCH THE NBA ON CABLE ESPECIALLY THE BLACK DEMOGRAPHIC WHO DON’T USE MAX BECAUSE THEY ONLY WANT TO PAY FOR ONE ITEM (Cable), BOOMERS WHO DON’T USE APPS, BARBER SHOPS, RESTAURANTS, SALONS, ETC JUST HAVE CABLE PLAYING ON THEIR SCREENS INSTEAD OF SOLELY SUBSCRIBING TO MAX WHICH WILL ONLY GIVE THEM 3 WBD LIVE CHANNELS.
Zoomies are the ones who mostly don’t mind paying for Max for Basketball. You can’t compare the NBA to wrestling, Cable companies are alive because of sporting events, obviously most of the 2.5 million is going to come from the cable subscribers as most people don’t give a fuck about wrestling to get cable for it.
It’s a disproportional comparison to compare sports and wrestling on an app since again, the bulk of the population (millions) doesn’t get cable for wrestling, they get it for SPORTS.
AEW gets about the same viewership (more or less, 500k vs 444k) on the APP because people buy CABLE not for wrestling but for SPORTS (mostly).
ARE YOU SAYING MORE PEOPLE WATCH WRESTLING THEN SPORTS EVENTS (not sports “entertainment” like wrestling)? 2 million cable subscribers won’t watch wrestling, they watch SPORTS. Few will watch wrestling, and the remaining views come from apps. Like I said, It’s Disproportional.
