Kevin Nash isn’t staying silent about the growing insults being thrown at AEW President Tony Khan, especially after NXT’s Je’Von Evans referred to Khan as a “crackhead” during a now-deleted Twitter feud with Ricochet.
On the May 29, 2025 episode of Kliq This, Nash addressed the controversy after a viewer question brought up the viral insult. Nash fired back with empathy, defending Khan by pointing to his reported autism.
>“Number one, he’s autistic. Man, you gotta give the guy a little bit of slack. I’m serious, man. I had an autistic kid.”
Sean Oliver, co-host of the podcast, asked Nash whether Khan being autistic was actually confirmed. Nash didn’t claim to have inside information but drew a comparison to other well-known figures:
>“Okay, if you’re going to pick between his actions and say he’s probably on the spectrum—as is Elon Musk, as is 90% of the people—or he’s just another billionaire crackhead… which one would you tend to believe?”
While Nash didn’t confirm Khan’s diagnosis, his point was clear—using slurs or assumptions about someone’s behavior without context is not only wrong, it’s dangerous.
The “crackhead” comment originated from a since-deleted tweet by Je’Von Evans, who took a brutal swipe at Ricochet for leaving WWE and working in AEW, saying:
>“Now you’re wrestling in front of 2,000 people every week for a crackhead. Talk about an upgrade.”
Ouch. But Nash wasn’t having it—and he’s urging fans to show Khan some compassion instead of throwing labels around carelessly.
