It's probably why Vince has called him his favorite wrestler before (he has said many are his favorite, including Bobo Brazil.) He shows up, does what you ask him to, and others make the demands for him. Even his first big breakout win was supposed to go to Mike Modest (remember him?) but the legend who worked with Bryan went to the booker like "He (Bryan) is going to win, right?" The booker said it was Mike and dude let him know Danielson is something special, you don't happen across wrestlers like that every day (the idea of an autistic athlete was relatively new or at least unexplored in the early 2000s.) So he has a precedent of letting others sing his praises.
