Why would you watch WWE now when a story just has a chance to suddenly stop because the people in it get released out of nowhere?

Why invest time in following a wrestler when it could now just suddenly end and the announcers act like nothing ever happened?
So what about all this Carlito Judgement Day stuff just.. gone?
