The main problem with most of the woman, and really most of the wrestlers these days, is that they can't emote properly
They come up with these ridiculous over the top facial expressions, and when they're not contorting their faces into parodies of human expression, they're so focused on trying to remember what they were supposed to do next that they have no expression whatsoever.
Which is why they then need 20 minutes "promo" segments where they tediously narrate shit to explain to an emotionally stunted audience why they want to play fight
Stephanie on the other hand is just a natural at everything these people fail at under WWE's tutelage, and that's why she gets over the first time a crowd sees her in the ring, and that's why she hasn't needed promo time at all to get massive pops. That's also why all the truly great wrestlers ever have gotten over. Physical charisma transcends words.
