Right now, in a WWE that has nothing running for real or feeling aimless with its current storylines (John Cena's farewell tour aside), having CM Punk tying knots is something.
I feel hte hate against him is more about his political views than his actual performance. Most of the time he's only interrupting fights or other promos. It was about time to let him use mic skills.
