You cut on a modern WWE show now, and most normie fans who stopped watching years ago will watch with a blank face until they see someone like Cena, Orton or Rey Mysterio. Then you'll see that excited "Oh shit, he's still there?!" reaction from them. But they won't bother caring about the current boring wrestlers because there's usually no reason to care

It should be reflected if you are a "household name" that "everyone knows". Henry and Dustin are C list celebrities at best, little known outside wrestling bubbles. Henry won medals, but he's not known like Michael Phelps and most people couldn't name an Olympic weightlifter.

Yeah, I agree calling Goldust and Mark Henry "household names" is a big stretch. Only guys like Austin and Rock fit that bill. However I also agree that outside the wrestling bubble, more people know who Goldust and Mark Henry are over current top guys like Jey Uso, Seth and probably even Cody. But that's mainly because Goldust and Mark Henry wrestled during a prime boom period on the same shows as Austin and Rock
