What he really means is 'The core Netflix audience don't want to watch a show that is constant recaps and ads' They want to watch short FOTM shows that they can talk about with their friends or online. They're not sitting down to watch nearly 3 hours of slop. Netflix content is stuff you watch, talk about and then move onto the next show or documentary they drop the following month. With Netflix you have to come out of the app if you want to channel surf when an ad break happens. Who could be fucked doing that when you can just go on youtube or twitter and watch everything a minute or two later anyway? There's nothing about eslop that's appointment viewing. I can't believe Netflix paid 5 billy for this shit and didn't demand exclusive rights in America or something.
