personally, I think Daniel Bryan is in need of an intervention. It seems pretty obvious that Bryan just can't come to grips with the fact that the days of being "Daniel Bryan" 24/7 realistically should have ended years ago, the moment he keeps risking his body and health for being a big time wrestling mark.
Instead of being a dignified elder statesman and role model for the young guys on the AEW roster, Bryan has become an old-timer with co-dependency issues with his need to stay a wrestler.
I sincerely hope at some point that Bryan can be content playing Bryan the on-screen AEW official while being Bryan Danielson the well-adjusted husband and father.
