>>18008942That probably covers his taxes on the building and that is about it. Punk blew his savings trying to buy his way into being a UFC fighter. He was paying hundreds of thousands, if not more than a million, to have the best coaches in North America teach him the most basic shit. I don't think it is obvious to people who don't follow MMA how bad he was fucking up but this is like paying Gordon Ramsey to personally show you how to make a ham sandwich. With the way the UFC is set up everyone coming in there has already gotten established with a gym, won several amateur fights and has sponsors to offset the costs related to training.
I really cannot describe how retarded that entire endeavor was for him or how hard he got played by everyone involved. Every single person who trained him knew he was going to get destroyed. Every person that he sparred with could have just raped him to death in the ring and they knew it. The worst part is that he wasn't ever going to actually make that money back at all, UFC pays for shit even at the top level. There is a reason Brock had fifty sponsors on his trunks and Connor McGregor went for the Mayweather fight and those guys were more successful then Punk could have ever possibly been in the octagon.
