I think you're overestimating how much interviewers get paid
film companies don't have to shell out that much money to the interviewer, they'd do the interviews regardless because that's how they get their own attention
chris is getting money from youtube ads, money from sponsorships, money from tiktok, and money from his podcasts being on apple and spotify
