It's been really grim
>got injured in 2021
>got fat and out of shape
>went scorched earth on NJPW management for schizo reasons and left the company
>went to AEW in 2023 and couldn't wrestle, as in he looked like he couldn't even remember where he was or what he was supposed to do
>went to NOAH and main evented their biggest show of the year with two broken ankles in the literal worst match possible
>went back to DDT and was let go due to "backstage issues"
>wrestled on an indie show in late 2024 with a nasty looking cut that looked like a leaking staph infection (thankfully wasn't)
>has only been booked once in 2025 on a freelance show in february
>now claims he has lost weight and is waiting for his visa renewal to come back to AEW

Got injured, had his mom call new Japan to get him out of his contract buff bagwell style. I think he even threatened suicide like a bitch. He also refused to get surgery for his injury and it clearly affected his ability to walk, exercise and of course wrestle. Had 2 dog shit appearances in aew which earned him a contract. Then he used his guaranteed money to justify working for smaller Japanese promotions for free, he even did an interview where he said he was using Tony’s dad’s money to fix Japanese indie wrestling. And then he got hurt working Noah. Not sure what he’s been up to after that

He actually quit and asked for all his comeback stuff to be removed from Wrestle Universe. He got worked by Ueno & MAO putting some heat to his return, Chris Brookes tried to calm him down via twitter replies but he just said "whatever I have AEW anyway." Neither side wanted to apologize so he fucked off.

I'm shocked he hasn't plopped back to GLEAT yet.
