She was a part timer and decided to become a full timer in AEW once her husband Takeshita moved to America but she did it at the worst possible timing because late 2023 was when the women's division was finally getting the big push and not only did Yuka have visa issues, but once that was cleared she got injured in her 2nd match back. The rest of the women that had been there had elevated themselves and the division got extremely competitive. Had she been there before she wouldve cemented a good spot for herself.
