But crowds don't care about how good a wrestler's matches are, they'll pay just to see him do his spots. So it doesn't make business-sense if the guy can still move even if he's slow as shit and can at best have a decent match on a good night. Where the real problem lies is that these guys past their prime are still bigger names/stars than the current guys so you can't just have them hanging around in the opener doing tag matches.
