Accessibility and looks matter to people. Its hiwbthey know its real and high end. If you don't look as good, you're not taken as being as good, and people dont want to waste their time on something inferior.
If youre only available on your own streaming platform, Twitter, or apps most people dont have, it becomes work to engage with the product, and people dont feel like putting in extra effort to hunt down a show when there's a better looking one that requires almost no effort what so ever. Its like if you live in boston, get Italian from the north end, or go to the burbs to get olive garden? If you live by the beach, will you hunt down a local community pool to go to instead?
