though personally, Cody Rhodes being casted as Guile is a great move. Not too certain about Roman Reigns as Akuma however because in my opinion, I think they could've got one of the Japanese wrestlers to play him (at least one that spoke good English)

I actually think it's because Cody is a huge millenial and he loves pandering to gamers because of him being a gamer himself.
He might felt like he was also deserving of an acting gig for a video game adaptation because of sucking off MGS and Zelda all his life.

This shit is giving me a fucking heart attack, I told Legendary I could do it for a hotdog and a handshake with a better script that would cost less to make and be futureproofed for a potential franchise for this exact reason, I knew some MCU guy was gonna come and fuck it all up.
