They stood her out there on her debut. Crowd popped pretty big for the small NXT size. Makes no sense not to ride out the good reception. She's still getting cheered. Turning her heel or automatically making her one with zero kayfabe reason for people to dislike her would be dumb

Absolutely deranged. She got an earth shattering gigapop when she showed up, and is about to have her in-ring debut on Saturday. She's probably on NXT since the main roster just added several new women and it's crowded at the top over there. Plus, NXT is still a big show on a major network and they still need draws for that show. She'll be on the main roster probably within a year, but there's nothing wrong with putting her there first.

Yeah and now Fenix and Penta are cooled off too only they've already had their big hot moment on the main roster. I can get both sides. They took those two as is and just threw them out there to quickly get merch going and market them as fast as they can. Given their injury history and ages it makes sense. Meanwhile Mariah/Blake is 26. Given the new name and packaging it's clear they decided to rebuild her from scratch as they want and gradually work her up into where she'll end up

Because she was an AEW homegrown star, and she was in the biggest and best AEW story in that company's history. And if even SHE jumps ship to WWE first chance she gets, for less money even, then none of their favorites are off the table.

They're teaching Blake and Saints that NOTHING they've done outside of WWE matters. Once you get to the big leagues, you start from square one and prove you can hang with main roster stars. Saints and Blake have a long way to go.
