Unusual. They actually posted a transcript of the Daydream training video on the site
>It has been revealed that Rika Tatsumi and Miu Watanabe of the tag team "Daydream" underwent training on July 7 at Chokozan Yogakuji Temple in Monzen-Nakacho, Tokyo, a temple of the Rinzai sect Myoshinji school. Daydream is set to challenge the Princess Tag Team Champions, Shoko Nakajima and Hyper Misao of “Kyōraku Kyōmei,” at Ota City General Gymnasium on July 21.
>This training was something Rika had long desired. The temple’s head priest, Makoto Mukai, instructed them that the method for achieving the mental focus necessary to win the title match was zazen. After a sutra chanting session, the pair immediately began zazen. Since the use of the keisaku is done by self-request as a way to encourage or correct one’s posture, both of them willingly asked to be struck on the shoulders.
>After completing their meditation and achieving mental focus, Daydream offered the following comments:
>Rika: I’ve always been really interested in zazen, and when I thought about training, I figured a temple would be the right place, so I brought us here. It’s not that I follow any specific religion, but I do really like temples and the words of monks.
>—How was it actually?
>Rika: It’s not often you get to do sutra chanting, and the words are difficult, but as I chanted, I tried to understand the meanings of the kanji and recited them with feeling. Was I reading them okay?
>Miu: You were reading them just fine! I was also reading them while thinking about the meanings of the kanji.
