When Mox won the belt. I appreciated his new gimmick but I knew it was gonna be a slow burner, and I was getting really busy and needed to reduce my internet/watching/leisure time. So I zoned out.
Since then I watched only WM 41 (which was horrificly shit) and just saw All In Texas (which was pretty good) this weekend.
I know that PPVs don't always reflect the overall product. A PPV can be a dud but the surrounding programming and stories have been good, or vice-versa.
But catching up on internet chatter, it seems like most internet rasslan fans agree that WWE has really lost their momentum, and AEW is getting decent again? Seems like a big change from 2024 when WWE was red hot and there was serious talk about how much longer AEW would last.
Is this really the state of things or is just it biased reporting?
If true, what does WWE need to do to turn the tide? What does AEW need to do to keep their product quality up?
HARD MODE: Please, honest answers, no console wars shitposting for just one thread. Leave your gimmicks at the curtain.
