But I think it's important to keep in mind that these are athletes, not school girls. Even the skinny ones do a lot of cardio and lifting. It takes a lot of calories to keep up with their routines so it's really not a stretch.

Actual "working out" is only a small part of fitness. Just as important are getting enough calories and getting enough sleep.
