I've said it several times before in other threads, and I will repeat it in all caps like an annoying faggot for emphasis:
THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY THAT TONY/AEW COULD HAVE COMPLETELY NO-SOLD HOGAN'S DEATH, AND GOTTEN AWAY WITH IT. IT WAS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE, AND THEY KNEW IT.
They had to say something. No one was expecting a whole tribute segment like WWE did, but there had to be some small form of acknowledgement
I'll be completely honest: I'mm surprised they even allowed a full statement on-air by a commentator. I fully expected a quick opening graphic on their next show or at the very least, just a statement across their socials
The fact that they allowed Schiavone to do an on-air statement was honestly classy of them because let's face it, they didn't have to do all of that. An opening graphic alone would have gotten people off of their backs
Regardless of how you feel about Hogan, respect to AEW for this. Seriously
