>>18376297Most of those guys and girls had a shit childhood and they're trying to disassociate from it by deleting the identity that experienced it.
It's a form of soft suicide, where they can kill themselves without actually killing themselves.
That's why they get triggered when you call them by their birth name, in the case of trains. It reminds them of the shit they're trying to run away from instead of dealing with it like an adult.
So they're trying to establish a new identity, and to give it form and structure they find these social issues that get handed to them like ice cream at the special school, and they exploit those social issues to establish and manifest that identity.
That in turn makes them very aggressive and vigilant about those issues, because without that, they have no identity at all... except the shit they're running away from.
It's absolute exploitation too. They will insist that black people need their charity and their support because black people are black and can't stand on their own feet, not realising that that's the very racism they claim to be fighting.
They don't realise it because the social fight isn't their goal. Avoiding their childhood traumas is their primary, really their exclusive goal.
Now apply that to wrestling fans who solely identify with angles and promos, or worse, workrate.
It's not that the matches are good.
It's that they're so busy wowing over the flips and the spot fest, that they forget their trauma better.
And if you say the wrestling's shit these days, they take it as: "Me avoiding my pains is shit? YOU DIRTY NO GOOD SON OF A BITCH RACIST YOU"
Sorry for the long form blog but I'm taking a shit and the thought came to me
