No one ever 'happens' in wrestling on their own. At the very least there's someone booking them the way they are. Then there's always people they worked with along the way or something that happens that elevates them. I wasn't trying to say the Matt stuff didn't help but it also wasn't the sole reason he ended up in the spot he did
