Have you seen her recently? She's lost the body, looks genuinely her age now. Throw in the injuries and AEW is better off just signing from the indies/Japan. Much rather have someone like Bozilla than Dakota.

They had her theme music ready and were in contract negotiations when she jumped back to WWE after a call. Doubt AEW takes her now. She doesn't have the cute girl next door look anymore and she's injury prone/old, can't cut promos. Like lena Kross is 7 years younger and doesn't have wwe stink, you'd sign her first.

She was being cheered over Lyra and was the clear fan favorite for the tournament.
There are plenty of losers on the roster that get literal crickets and have zero fans at all even on the internet, like Zelina and Michin, so it's extremely sus that they released Dakota and not them. She would've done wonders for the abysmal women's US title scene.
