>>18416354AEW is not for fans of wrestling. Tony just co-opted that from guys like Omega, the Bucks, Cody, who wanted to make a real alternative to WWE. Something that wasn't the indies and wasn't NJPW. Tony funded it because he literally has failed at everything else given to him in life. Having his own fed gave him "friends" and put in the middle of something he always thought he was uber smart at. AEW is about fulfilling every fantasy about wrestling he has ever had in his head. It is not about the fans or the boys or being an alternative to WWE. That's why it can't be "fixed". Fixing it implies it is something besides that. Tony wouldn't let it exist in any other form.
