>>18417325The Patriarch character/storyline was built for a year of TV, maybe 18 months tops. Tony let him stretch it out to 3+ because Christian likes it. There are a lot of interesting things that could have been done with the character and his "family", but it's been nothing but repetitive bullshit running on fumes for forever now. I'm one of the biggest Christian fans you'll find, but I've been down on him about this for a long time now. Hopefully the turn and tag run will reinvigorate him and he's still got something to offer as a face, because I'm over him as a heel at this point.
