The show is scripted. Scripted means move for move, expression for expression, every single thing is predetermined and written for the wrestlers to go perform like it's a theatrical production.
Normally if something goes wrong in a Broadway play, you carry on like it didn't happen or you have a fitting quip and carry on, call it a uniqueness to that specific performance which that crowd got and nobody else gets to have.
At the WWE, talent gets scolded and berated and demoted down the card for little mistakes.
And because of that, if the zip tie is loose and Lyra can get her hand out of it, she has to pretend her hands are still tied or it's back to NXT to learn what sacrifice is all about.
TL;DR: WWE convinced themselves they're Hollywood and can't afford or accept deviation from the script.
