I've always thought Eddie shot on punk in that segment and punk didn't get mad because he respects eddie. He is a veteran worker. If I am wrong and the segment is a work than Eddie proves he's literally the best to ever cut a worked shoot promo. Yeah, the fast chops are corny, and so are some of the other all japan moves (coming from someone who loves the pillars) but man he has heart in the ring and his matches against Danielson really proves he knows what he is doing in the ring
