Benoit had physical charisma and sold himself as a very convincing violent grappler
You can doll up Malenko with any gimmick you want, he won't be able to sell sand to an Arab. Put Women on his shoulder, tell the audience he fucked them, have them on their knees, he just won't come across like that guy.
