Seriously, talk to someone who really hates wrestling sometime. Ask them what they don't like about it. Their complaints will have nothing to do with modern wrestling, yet they'll throw out the same exact criticisms Cornette makes about it - it's stupid, unrealistic, grandiose and self-important, looks fake, terrible acting, shitty storylines, impossible to take seriously, etc.
And if you talk to an older pro-wrestling critic they'll be telling you the same shit they've been saying for decades. They literally don't even know the difference between the current stuff and the old stuff because they don't watch it.
