I think he has his place as both an historian and a documentarian. Had it not been for him to take the testimony from Bret Hart himself, we would have never know the truth and the step-by-step events about the Montreal Incident and would have bought whatever propaganda the WWE would have spewed out about it hook, line and sinker. Having an enyclopediac knowlege about the industry and the ins and outs of it, especially as an outsider, is a feat.
Let's face facts: wrestling journalist isn't something of a position that real jouralists, even sports journalists, are vying for. So once Dve's gone, who's going to take up the mantle? No one, that's who. And his star rating system is absolute ass and is pulled right out of his. I also don't like how he has propped himself up as an authority figure of match quality and history when no one asked him to, no one delegated that position to him, but we just have to accept it and he's duped others into thinking the same thing; that gives me Conrad Thompson creep vibes. He's about as much as a reliable and credible journalist as he is a fucking monkey. Not too keen on his flying monkey fans that dismiss matches and wrestlers due to how many stars they get. What a fucking tumor on the industry.

Shut the fuck up. Dave's a tongue-wagging shortbus riding retard. I hope to fuck his name gets brought up as an investor in AEW to fuck his already useless reputation even further. That or his shitshow office and tapes library catches the fucking fuck on fire just for the safety hazard it is alone.
