Actually same here. I haven't watched wrestling since Mania but started watching a lot more movies since then. Honestly it's probably a better hobby quality wise than wrestling is.

If you’re willing to watch older wrestling like you do with movies there’s a lot to watch. But as a wrestling fan you are cheap and lazy, so hunting down classic footage or even paying for bootlegs are probably beyond your grasp.

Nah I've watched plenty of older wrestling. But watching for example something like 80's NWA vs a well regarded 80's film, the quality difference is vast. I think wrestling fans just have low standards. Even the "best" wrestling storylines get lapped by movies
