okay smartypants. since when did ANYONE consider Taka Michinoku or Dean Malenko to better wrestlers than Steve Austin? at ANY time in the late 1990s.
and i was on the internet back then. there was a lot of contrarianism. there's probably countless posts calling Michinoku and Malenko better wrestlers than Triple H. but Austin? no way.

Depends on what you mean by "wrestler". Austin was voted Wrestler of the Year by Observer readers in 1998, which takes into account promos and everything else, but was 10th for Most Outstanding Wrestler behind 7 Japanese guys, 1 Mexican and Mick Foley.
