That's not the point, he used to suck way more but he actually got a clue and has improved quite a bit. I wouldn't say that he's going over us clean though since it was our bullying that made him stop bitching and get it together but if he keeps improving and is actually good in a couple of years more then yeah, sure, let's give the kid a win.
