The story was that The Hurt Syndicate wanted to drop the titles a young, up and coming tag team. All AEW has that fit that description are Private Party, Lio Rush and Andretti, and Top Flight. Two of those teams vanished from TV, and Top Flight are jobbers. So Tony threw Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight together but Bailey’s a joke.

If it doesn't matter who has the belts why keep them on the Hurt Syndicate? They really don't matter.

For perspective the last time FTR has the belts they drew 80k at Wembley and were drawing 6-7000 weekly for Dynamite. Therefore the Hurt Syndicate are lower tier draws than FTR. May as well put the belts on them right?

Have ratings increased since Hurt Syndicate got the belts? Have they had any decent programs that warranted fan attention?
