It completely sold you the context of the belt - it is everything. It is your life, it is your wealth, it is everything you WANT as a wrestler. This feud isn't just about two men, it's two hardened, battle hungry warriors willing to go all out just to stand on top. It makes it feel so big, so fantastical, engaging. Even when they brawl in the end it just feels so natural. And when I think back to recent WWE, I can only wonder why they can't seem to redo it. And don't say some shit like they're too soft or some dumb boomer shit, there has to be SOMETHING tangible to change this. Is it the cameras they use now? The lighting? The aggression? I can't put my finger on it. I'm sure I could if I feverishly watched a lot of videos and compared though.
